Antcor announces the release of LteLink v2

MATLAB Enabled

The success of the first release of LteLink is followed by the development of an updated version which addresses your requests for improvements on the usability, graphical output and performance of LteLink v1. The most important features in the LteLink v2 Toolbox for MATLAB are described below.

Graphical output
A graphical diplay of the channel response, block-errors and throughput was implemented to provide a more intuitive demonstration of results

Channel modeling
The option to simulate time-correlated channels with Doppler is implemented according to the 3GPP models (EPA5Hz, EVA5Hz, EVA70Hz, ‘ETU70Hz and ETU300Hz)

HARQ
The ability to model up to 8 HARQ processes with individual Modulation/Coding configuration is added

Modulation/Coding
The option to assign different modulation/coding per codeword is introduced

Transmission modes
The ability to perform single-antenna port transmission with 2 or 4 antennas at the receiver (receive diversity) is added

Display configuration / results
A text-based output of the main configuration parameters and results is provided

User-specified random seed
To help in the comparison of the performance of different configurations with the exact channel and noise conditions we introduce the ability to define a seed number for initializing the random number generator in LteLink

Compatibility with LteSystem
LteLink was redesigned to offer 100% compatibility with LteSystem, the upcoming multi-UE simulation toolbox. Any MATLAB code written for the LteLink Toolbox can be reused in LteSystem for testing the system-level performance for a single-cell/multi-UE scenario.
